Park Royal Hotel Parramatta
On this business trip, I was able to cut a deal with Park Royal Parramatta (about 26 km from Sydney CBD) for a cheaper rate compared to the surrounding hotels.
The room is nice and comfy. I got a standard room with a King-sized bed and 6 pillows.

The room is well-lit and got some big lamps on both sides and above the headboard. However, I kinda missed the master control board normally located on the bedside table. This was replaced by individual switches on the side of each lamp.

The TV set is a 26″ Samsung LCD. This set’s like 4 years old. I know, coz I got this exact same model back in ’07. Not really a big deal for me. I don’t watch much TV on business trips anyway.

The thing that I love here is that the room has got a black table with no glass surface. This means I can use my mouse and do photo editing on-the-go. Normally, I couldn’t process my images because my mouse wouldn’t work on a glass surface. But I love this one!

The bathroom is quite small and the shower screen is only covering half of the shower area, which I didn’t particularly like because that means the bathroom floor would be wet after each shower.

Overall, the bed is comfortable and the pillows are not bad. I’d stay here again for my next business trip on October. Hitting the bed now. Ciao!
